Returning to the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra

Kahchun returns to the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, where he is the Chief Conductor Designate, to conduct two concerts featuring Mahler’s Symphony No. 5 on March 17 and 18, 2018. He will become the new Chief Conductor of the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra beginning in the 2018/2019 season, from September this year.

Returning to the Shanghai Symphony & Kunming Symphony

Kahchun is spending almost the whole month of December in China! After the tour with the Nuremberg Symphony concludes, he will perform with the Kunming Symphony on 15 December and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra (SSO) on 24 December, with a Brahms-centric programme. In Shanghai, he is especially looking forward to conducting Ding Shande's Piano Concerto with Louis Lortie, SSO's Artist-in-Residence 17/18.
